ART4SEA in Beyond Expo 2024

The ART4SEA project was disseminated by Atlantis Consulting, in the Beyond Expo 2024, one of the world’s leading showcases for innovation, business development and technology. Beyond was held in Thessaloniki, Greece during 25-27/04/2024, with a special focus this year on artificial intelligence.

Beyond Expo is organized by TIF – HELEXPO, Be-Best, and the Industry Disruptors Game Changers (IDGC), with co-organizers including the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), and the City of Thessaloniki. This year the Expo was held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior (Macedonia-Thrace Sector), the Ministry of Tourism, and the Panhellenic Association of General Secretaries of Local Government “Kleisthenis”.

During the Beyond exhibition, Atlantis aimed to inform the visitors who visited its booth about the innovative concept of ART4SEA project which mixes art with cutting-edge digital techniques, such as GenAI tools for digital artwork creation, redefining the possibilities of modern artistry and opening new horizons in aesthetic creation. On 2025, the 12 born-digital and 12 digitized physical artworks will be available in a virtual exhibition – accessible both on the web and the Metaverse.

Key Points of this year’s Exhibition were:

Attendance and Interest: The attendance has exceeded expectations, with great enthusiasm from exhibitors and visitors from both Greece and abroad.

AI Forum: triggered discussions about the application of artificial intelligence in everyday life, with significant experts presenting their views.

Sophia The Robot: Sophia the Robot, a humanoid social robot, was a central attraction, engaging with visitors and providing an opportunity for interaction with artificial intelligence.

Southeast Europe Leadership Dialogue: Fostered negotiations and discussions with Ministers and scientists about the importance of artificial intelligence in solving health problems and the need for international cooperation.
